Job Description

We seek to hire a Marketing Coordinator in our Charlotte, NC office who will be responsible for assisting Principals and Project Managers with the coordination preparation of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, SF330s and other local, state and federal forms and providing related marketing support. This includes writing, research, data gathering and execution.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with the research and implementation for business development and marketing plans;
  • Assist with the preparation of interview presentations and promotional campaigns;
  • Preparing proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, SF330s and other forms;
  • Tracking proposals and entering business development activities in CRM database;
  • Maintaining marketing materials;
  • Assist with the development of marketing media (media kits, ads, press releases, articles, etc.);
  • Participates in marketing meetings and coordinating proposal kick-off meetings;
  • Working as part of a team environment, including senior-level staff, clients, teaming partners, consultants, and peers, under the direction of the Marketing Manager;
  • Communicating with proposal recipients and others as required;
  • Performing related administrative tasks as directed
  • Assist in sub-consultant prequalification process

Education

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field is preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, and Accreditations

  • Certification as a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) is desirable

A Marketing Coordinator should be able to effectively utilize current company software programs for word processing, e-mail, and information management. Current programs include:

Career Experience

A Marketing Coordinator should typically up to 7 years of marketing and business development experience within the A/E/C industry and specific experience preparing proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, SF330s, and other local state and federal forms.

Other Criteria

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills, specifically in the A/E/C industry
  • Be knowledgeable with all office equipment: computers, copiers, printers, scanners
  • Have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prepare effective, concise, accurate documents
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, produce quality work while meeting routine & unexpected deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and clients
  • Strong initiative with a desire to provide outstanding professional services
