Job Description

We seek to hire a Marketing Coordinator in our Raleigh, NC office. This position requires strategic thinking, flexibility, creativity, excellent writing and editing skills, a well-developed graphic eye, planned and proactive approaches, and the ability to shift priorities frequently while maintaining attention to detail and achieving high quality standards. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and function effectively as part of a team under multiple deadlines and time constraints, schedule workload, and manage time efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while demonstrating an enthusiastic “can do” attitude. AEC Industry experience is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team member who is a quick learner, able to keep up in a fast-paced environment, and asks questions to develop a deep understanding of the industry and organization.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create, edit, and produce well-written and graphically sophisticated content for marketing items including proposals, statements of qualifications, SF330s, presentations, marketing collateral, handouts, and promotional materials
  • Support the development and maintenance of various written content including project descriptions and information, staff resumes, and photography on a regular basis
  • Proactively coordinate with staff to create master descriptions for new projects; interview technical staff concerning project details; draft content and collect photography; collaborate with technical and marketing staff to ensure final content is accurate
  • Coordinate with marketing and technical staff to maintain up-to-date, personnel resumes, create resumes for new hires within the first month of start date
  • Support capture planning, proposal and marketing research efforts
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM database including maintenance of opportunities, projects, clients, and contacts
  • Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading proposals and other marketing content
  • Support in preparation of PowerPoint slides and leave-behind materials for presentations and interviews
  • Provide printing and production support, and assembling and delivering final documents as related to marketing materials
  • Provide organizational support of marketing activities (scheduling meetings, webinars, taking minutes, production and logistics support, etc.)
  • Order and track inventory of proposal supplies and promotional items
  • Supports outreach efforts, such as award submittals, client events, white paper or presentation development, tradeshows and public relations efforts as needed
  • Extensive writing and frequent communication via phone, email, and in person with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Business Administration, engineering, science, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Certifications

Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) may be given additional consideration

Experience

Typically, up to 7 years of professional experience or internship in related marketing, business development, public relations.  Experience in the A/E industry may be given additional consideration

Software Skills

Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.  Previous experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) may be given additional consideration.
